Residing in the Northern Territory for 40 years, I have now moved to the Shoalhaven/Nowra area. Past experience has developed a diverse skill set working closely with diverse cultures and people. I have a natural conversational style, with a relaxed personable style that facilitates an "at ease" environment with clients. Providing total commitment to the clients needs has facilitated ongoing customer satisfaction with the desired product.
I cater for all genres ranging from weddings, portraits, events to architechtural & real estate photography. I am experienced in all forms of photo restoration and retouching, therefore I am capable of enhancing clients photographs and repairing damaged or old photographs. If you have digital files from another photographer who has failed to provide a quality photograph, I may be able to retouch the photo you quality you desire (this depends on the quality of the initial image).

BACKGROUND
Born in 1959, Mike was obsessed with photography after he was given his first camera at the age of eleven. After completing high school in 1975, Mike moved from his hometown of Tamworth to Western Australia. After working with modelling photographers back in the days of film he developed the skill set for glamour photography, Mike broadened his skill set to include landscapes, event/sporting photography, underwater photography and commercial/real estate photography.
In 1984 Mike joined the Northern Territory Police Force whilst still undertaking professional photography work. Retiring from the police force in May 2024, Mike has retained a highly ethical and honest profile that that is the hallmark of his photography business. The desire to help people has always been a character trait and this led to joining the Heartfelt Organisation.
Heartfelt is a volunteer organisation of professional photographers dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families who have experienced stillbirth or have children with serious or life threatening illness.
Heartfelt is dedicated to providing this gift in a caring and compassionate manner, with all services free of charge.

Although the photography industry is competitive, I have always understood that training and development are essential for continuing this industry. As such I provide photographic training for those individuals who may seek to work in this industry, or simply to enhance your current skills to take quality photographs in the future.
