The completed wedding album from the Wedding Collection will be something that will continually increase in personal value and is a virtual heirloom to be handed onto family as the years and generations come and go.  

Albums are a tangible asset that you can touch and easily show to everyone.  Let them experience your very special and emotional day where the album tells the compelling story of that day.  I can predict that you or your family will want to purchase more of my images for addition to your album, additional albums or fine art prints.

A number of photographers do not provide albums but are quick to provide digital JPEG files to their customers.  Digital JPEG files are often discarded, not colour corrected and often difficult to locate.  They also need to be stored on a hard drive that operates in an evironment where hard drives fail with time.  Do you really want to have your treasured images disappear when your storage device fails in 7-10 years?  This is why Mike Potts Photography places your images into a cherished album, your heirloom and legacy.

Mike Potts Photography is now based in Nowra, NSW after moving from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.  Professional wedding photography can be arranged anywhere in Australia however my main area of business will be the Wollongong/South Coast region.

There are three primay wedding collections available catering for 6, 8 or 12 hour photographic shoots (wedding albums are included in the cost of these Collections).  Alternative individually structured photographic shoots can be discussed and arranged (2,3,4,5,7,9,10 or 11 hour photographic shoots).

 Wedding Contract

All weddings should be incorporated into a formal contract between the photographer and the client. This will ensure that all the parties concerned will know the expectations of each other. Please select this link to view and example of the contract that I use.

ALL IMAGES WILL BE POSTED ON MY WEBSITE FOR YOU, FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO VIEW YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF THE WEDDING.  YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO HAVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC OR PRIVATE VIEWING.  I WILL ASSUME THAT THE GALLERY WILL BE PRIVATE UNLESS INSTRUCTED OTHERWISE.

PRIVATE GALLERIES WILL REQUIRE ANY PERSON WHO WANTS TO SEE THE PICTURES TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON MY WEBSITE AND REQUEST ACCESS TO YOUR GALLERY. I WILL CHECK WITH YOU AS TO WHO YOU WANT TO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR GALLERY AND ONLY APPROVE ACCESS WITH YOUR APPROVAL.

A RETAINER OF 30% OF THE WEDDING COLLECTION  IS TO BE PAID TO RESERVE EVENT COVERAGE.  THE RETAINER IS NON-REFUNDABLE (BUT MAY BE REAPPLIED) IF THE EVENT IS RESCHEDULED.  THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT THE TIME PERIOD FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT IS ALLOCATED SOLELY TO YOU, AND NO OTHER CLIENTS CAN BE BOOKED DURING THIS TIME PERIOD.

70% OF THE TOTAL BALANCE MUST BE PAID NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING DAY,

IF ANY ADDITIONAL ALBUM COSTS ARE APPLICABLE TO AN ALBUM (ENHANCED STYLES, PRINTING MATERIALS ETC.), THE ADDITIONAL COSTS MUST BE PAID FOR PRIOR TO ANY ALBUM PRINTING COMMENCES.
